Only fax now and then? Pay per fax instead

Everything above is a monthly plan. If you only send the odd fax, a pay-per-fax service can make more sense: no subscription, you pay once for the fax you're sending. It isn't in the ranking above because there's no monthly bill to compare — what a fax costs depends on where it goes and how many pages it has.

What a fax costs

1-page fax to the US
$1.50
3-page fax to the US
$2.50

Ten pages sent as one fax cost $6.00; the same ten pages as ten separate faxes cost $15.00, because each fax pays its own first-page price.

  • Up to 20 pages and 4 MB per fax (PDF, PNG, JPEG)
  • Sending only — no number for receiving faxes
  • Paid by card per fax, with the total shown before you pay
  • Prices in US dollars, as charged on the provider's English site

Sending every week, or need a number to receive faxes? A plan from the comparison above usually works out cheaper. Our guide to pay-as-you-go faxing runs the break-even math.

About this comparison

Why do the rankings change when I move the page sliders?

Because real cost depends on volume. A $9.95 plan with 500 pages beats a $6.99 plan with 100 pages the moment you fax more than about 130 pages a month. The engine recalculates every plan at your exact numbers.

What does 'Best value' mean in the sort options?

It blends your effective cost per page (weighted 70%) with the provider's independent rating (30%). Lowest price sometimes means an unreliable service — best value catches that trade-off.

Why is a provider grayed out in my results?

Grayed-out cards fail one of your requirements — usually a missing feature like HIPAA or an API. We show them anyway so you can see what you'd give up by switching a requirement off.

Stop overpaying for faxing

Two minutes with our calculator usually saves $5–15 a month.
